Study
Dermatologists from the University of California San Francisco asked 169 people with eczema whether they tried to make their skin healthier through their diet. The researchers also asked the participants how successful eliminating or adding specific products to the diet was.

Results
87 percent of study participants had tried to curb dietary eczema. They had tried to avoid junk food in the first place. Dairy and gluten came in joint second and third place.

Foods that the study participants added to their diet to curb their eczema were vegetables, fish oil capsules and fruit.

The most interesting part of the research is the effect of removing or adding specific foods to the diet. It is striking that limiting refined grain products was particularly effective according to the study participants.

According to the study participants, foods that it is worth eating more of were mainly vegetables, organically grown products and fish oil supplements.
