The stimulant from oak that has no side effects
There are countless stimulants circulating in the supplement market that are supposed to boost your energy levels and eliminate fatigue, but they all have side effects. If they don't speed up your heart rate and raise your blood pressure, they create an unpleasant feeling of tension. This may not be the case with Robuvit, a newcomer to the supplement market.
Robuvit
Robuvit mainly contains phenols. Or, if you want to be more precise, ellagitannins. Or, if that isn't precise enough, roburins. A few prominent roburins in Robuvit are vescalagin and castalagin.
The case
Study
A far from perfect research design, indeed.
The study participants had to complete the Activation-Deactivation Adjective Check List on the day that supplementation started [Q1], and on the last day of their Robuvit cycle, [Q5]. [Activation-Deactivation Adjective Check List]
Results
The figure above refers to the subjects who scored poorly on the Activation-Deactivation Adjective Check List before starting supplementation. 4 of them reported a decrease in tiredness, in 2 non-responders supplementation had no effect.
The figures below relate to the effect on energy and calmness in subjects with initially poor scores. In most cases, scores improved during the supplementation period.
Most subjects seem to benefit from Robuvit. They feel more energetic, and less tired, but no less calm or more tense. Other side effects were also absent, the researchers write.
